— Our Story

Supporting the healthiest and happiest you

The greater risk of health complications within the LGBTQIA community is a call to action for all healthcare practices. At Alliance, we are heeding that call in our compassionate delivery of services reinforced by the desire to see our patients reach their healthiest and happiest self.
We support the LGBTQIA community with inclusive practice that exercises complete confidentiality and equality as your safe space in healthcare.

Healthcare for the LGBTQIA community

Alliance’s LGBTQIA Health Services group has been at the forefront of improving your health and wellbeing in a friendly, non-judgmental, and culturally competent environment. Alongside your basic Primary, Dental, and Specialty care, Alliance provides vital LGBTQIA services within:

  • Behavioral Health
  • Hormone Therapy
  • HIV Education, Testing & Prevention (PrEP/PEP)
  • Artificial Insemination

For services (such as gender confirmation surgery) not
currently offered on-site, we will guide you to our best local
referral and coordinate with you throughout the process to
ensure that you receive the care you need.

LGBTQIA health equity

Alliance is proud to support, and continue to implement, services that promote equity in healthcare for all individuals. We have partnered with LGBTQIA organizations (such as Hudson Pride), agencies and allies to assist our patients in accessing the highest quality care for the best possible outcomes. Our staff is specially trained for:

Inquiring about, and supporting, patient’s sexual orientation to enhance patient-provider interaction and care.
Providing supportive social services to reduce the suicide, and homelessness risk among youth.
Curbing human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) with interventions that work.

Our health, referral and educational services are available to all, regardless of one’s ability to pay or insurance coverage level.
