About
Our Story
Alliance Community Healthcare was founded as a family planning center based out of a Jersey City church in 1963 by two African-American women, an attorney and a handful of volunteers. They were determined to provide the women and families of Jersey City much-needed access to safe, legal birth control. As community needs grew beyond just family planning, we grew too.
Nearly sixty years later, we now provide a comprehensive list of healthcare services to over 19,000 patients and handle more than 58,000 outpatient visits every year. We have cultivated our practice to stay current with the latest advancements in healthcare technology and service expansions.
We are home to a diverse medical staff with over 20 languages spoken regularly at our facility as per the racial and cultural makeup of our community. We foster a compassionate environment of best practice, honesty, and trust. Our team works in compliance with the highest regulatory clinical standards so that we can guide you to be the healthiest you.
