Radiant Resilience

61 Years of Community Impact & Radiant Resilience

Join us in celebrating our 61st anniversary, and honoring the contributions of important community leaders. This year we strive to raise $250,000 for a new medical mobile unit to serve the underserved in Hudson County.

Help Alliance take its quality comprehensive Healthcare (Medical, Dental Behavioral Health) services on the road

The Goal of this years Fundraiser: Alliance Community Healthcare’s acquisition of a new mobile medical unit. This is a pivotal step in expanding our reach and ensuring that high-quality healthcare services are accessible to all members of our community, especially the most vulnerable. This mobile unit will serve as a safe, welcoming space where individuals who may face barriers to accessing traditional healthcare facilities can receive the care they need. By extending our services further into the community, we can address healthcare disparities and improve overall public health. Additionally, this unit will enhance our ability to provide on-site care in schools, supporting the health and well-being of our community’s future generations.

The new mobile medical unit embodies our commitment to inclusivity and proactive healthcare, ensuring no one is left behind. Help us take our same quality healthcare services on the road!

This year, we also want to recognize the dedication and hard work of key community members who have placed the well-being of the lovely Hudson County community at the forefront of their efforts. We celebrate our collective Radiant Resilience to shine through even the darkest hour stronger than ever. As we mark our 61st anniversary, we pay tribute to:

Mr. Thomas Hurley, we are thrilled to announce that Thomas Hurley will be honored with the Joyce Ida Tolliver Adams Award for Excellence in Community Development. His unwavering commitment to creating pathways for those seeking employment through free apprenticeship training and direct partnerships with community organizations has made a significant impact in Hudson County

Director Frank Mazza, Social and Community Services Senior Executive as well as the current Director of Hudson County Family Services and Reintegration. Director Mazza has always had a deep experience advocating for under-served and vulnerable populations. We will be awarding Director Frank Mazza the Ethan Kemp Award – for Community Advocacy.

Lady Mary L. Knight, who is a dedicated leader in her church, actively involved in various ministries and leadership roles. She holds positions in the Women’s Department and serves as First Lady of Heavenly Temple Church of God in Christ. She is dedicated to serving her community and supporting others through her devotion and love. We will be awarding Lady Knight with the Alliance Ally in Life Award – Community Support Champion.

And in memoriam, Amir Kamal Syed, MD. At Alliance we strive to be your ally in life and that is how Dr. Amer Syed lived his short life. There is no better illustration than him providing medical assistance to a woman on a flight attributable to saving her life. No matter when Alliance’s CEO called, he always picked up the phone and offered a hand. He did his clinical rounds at Alliance when we were at Journal Square. Gone too soon but not forgotten. We will be giving Dr. Syed’s family the Community Healthcare Provider Award in his memoriam.
